Like most upcoming games in Japan, Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3 (Disaster Report PSP) is coming equipped with an ad hoc multiplayer mode. The latest trailer for the survival game (found after the break) reveals that a maximum of four players can band together to brave a host of natural calamities.

The video also shows a good chunk of the single-player gameplay, which involves a lot of crawling, busting down doors and pulling people out of wreckage. You can try it out for yourself in the demo that’s currently available on the Japanese PlayStation Store.

    PSP Firmware 5.0 Store Review

The PSP just got a firmware update to 5.0 and the most significant feature is the Playstation Store built into the XMB (cross media bar), accessible over wifi. To upgrade switch on your wifi and select the system update under the settings menu. Upgrade online at the official Playstation site

The store gives you direct access to demos, videos, full games and more. You no longer need to download via a computer, which means cutting out the middle man but it could also mean longer download times. Now you can have direct access to new demos and games that become available. I will be using this feature for demos and videos only as the other files would be a larger drain on the battery.
