Buzz! is coming to the UK and he’s taking no prisoners. Whether you’re a PS3, PSP or PS2 owner, you’ll be able to get your hands on the latest Buzz! title, Buzz! Brain of the UK. Due out in March, Brain of the UK’s questions will focus on UK culture, including “bands, cities, sports personalities, television favourites, wildlife, food and more.”
The PS3 version will feature over 4000 questions and, just like Buzz! Quiz TV, a national leaderboard as well as MyBuzzQuiz.com and premium question pack support. The PSP version will feature 6-player multiplayer on a single console as well as a single player mode with collectible medals and awards. The PS2 version will support “thousands” of questions, which is apparently enough to keep you “buzzing for hours.”
No word on the price or exact release date for any version of Brain of the UK yet, but we should hear something more concrete before its release in March.

And now it’s even got a bit of thirdparty encouragement with mobile widget provider Mojocafe adding PSP support for its smartphone gizmos.
To be honest, the idea’s nice and simple as any device that runs Flash 6 and has a bigger than 320 x 240 pixel screen should be able to handle the technology.
All you have to do is register online with your email address at mojocafe.net and you’ll be provided with a six digit PIN. Log in, and then you can select up to four widgets – as yet the selection isn’t huge but includes the likes of clocks, calendars, Yahoo! Weatherstation, some newsfeeds, webcam feeds – such as New York, Chile, San Francisco – and a flickr photo feed. |

Click the Play Now link to go straight to a site where you can select twenty or more languages in which to play the game. PATAPON is great for instilling a number of different concepts and skills. The game is a rythm action game that is dependent of stratgeic choices made before, during and after each battle. Many reviewer but is in a class of its own and were very impressed with it. The title has its fans but it is a unique title so why not test it out online first.

Follow the link below for the full tutorial. My themes wil be going up soon! The tutorial is relatively simple and many people who comment of the Blog said tehy had a go and they thought it was an easy process!
Here’s what you’ll be needing:
- a computer that runs Windows
- a digital image editing program
- the “PSP Theme Toolbox”
- a little bit of time
First thing you need to do is download the “PSP Theme Toolbox” zipped file. You can unzip it anywhere, but if you’ll be doing a lot of Themes or want to use the pre-made default while going through this walkthrough, you’ll have to extract it directly to your C: drive (C:PSP Theme Toolbox).

There is a real economic factor for companies to do so. Whilst many are saying there are not many sales compared to the DS it is clear that the family of Playstation titles is strong. There are many migrating to the PSP from the PS2 and the strength in graphics is enough to persuade a large group of males between 12-25 to make it their purchase. The increasing connection to the PSP could also generate sales of the handheld.
It is clear that strategy based and warfare titles might have more of a home on the PSP than the DS or other mobile device, due to its demographic.
Lets support the companies making a effort. Review coming soon.
Marco Minoli, one of the guys responsible for The History Channel’s Great Battles of Rome game, sees the future of his company on PSP. Speaking to GI.biz, he says “the PSP version gave us the best results. That’s why we really keep pushing the PSP now, it’s perfect for us, for our strategy of history and strategy.” Slitherine Software will continue working on educational video games, a genre Minoli thinks is expanding. As the company moves forward, PSP will continue to be in their sights. “To be very honest nobody’s looking at the PSP as a huge opportunity at the moment, and I really think there is a huge opportunity there. I’ve seen sales charts for some territories now and a top ten PSP game sells more than a top ten Nintendo DS game,” he added. |
